This is awesome. Growing up, I didn't get much exposure to comics. They were hard to get in my dimension. In the recent years, I started reading graphic novels, especially mangas. (Occasionally I hide easter eggs in my articles, too) I am currently reading the new Ultimate Marvel comics.
So, basically I am the target audience for your articles.
I’ve never really been grabbed by manga, but I have read some of the classics such as Ghost in the Shell, Domu and Akira. I’m reading some of the new Ultimate books as well; both Ultimate Spider-Man and Ultimates. They are great reads.
Glad you liked the articles. Thanks so much for checking them out! ✌️
Really interesting article, Joe. Had no idea how prevalent this was in the comics world! It reminds me of the music industry, before streaming, when they'd release different presses of a band's single, because collectors would buy all variants (like myself) and thus up the chances of the single hitting the top 10.

I remember when singles were a thing. I only ever bought them if they had cool b-sides though
